I keep seeing the reference about LSD and conspiracy to overthrow the government pop up, but it’s not being mentioned on any sites that could be considered “reliable”…mostly a bunch of forums. Now I’m trying to figure out where the basis of that claim came from and if there is even a sliver of truth to back it up.
Here’s an idea, why don’t you start with the assumption that it is bull crap and then ask one of the people that says it is true to provide you with some facts to back it up.

If all you’ve got is unsubstantiated claims from a co-worker and something you once saw on the internet but can no longer find, then it’s probably safe to dismiss this one.
Wonder if these might be vestigial horror-stories of that sort from the 1950’s era, when (according to some factions) EVERYTHING that wasn’t wholesome all-American was treasonous anti-American atheistic homosexual (except J. Edgar) pure-evil Communist.
