I read/heard about this a couple of times in the last week or so. I can’t think of a single candidate these people could in good conscience vote for. And I can’t imagine that any candidate running on a platform like this could possibly ever be elected. So clearly the only hope for salvation is to never vote. And to never run for office, because you’d have to compromise these principles to win.
Works for me; I don’t want people who wholeheartedly believe this crap helping to decide the course of the country.
What about unmarried men and women living in the same apartment block? Street?
So in the same site these people claim to support religious freedom, but also that all nations should be Christian.
If this wasn’t intended seriously it would be funny.
Looks like I’m going to hell. Time to get the sunglasses on.
The one that interests me is:
Well. Looks like condoms are out, so’s the Pill … so’s the rhythm method … come to think of it, so’s abstinence; all “non murderous” methods of birth control, right?
Folks! Have unprotected sex at all times! It’s your Christian duty! Abstainers will BURRRRRRRRRRN IN THE EVERLASSSTING FIIIIIIIIIRES OF HELLLLLLLLL!!!
(Sorry, I think these people are extremely silly.)
Can somebody recommend a good, effective SPF for Hell?
Propaganda is annoying, but I’m sort of happy when I see religious nuts marginalize themselves like this.
This is why I’m a Lutheran: all the liturgy of Catholicism, but none of the dogma or guilt…
<Rolls his dice and moves the tophat around the board. Draws a Chance card and reads it aloud…>
“Go to hell. Go directly to hell. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.”
Oh, well. It will be a nice change from Minnesota winters.
These guys thing the fricken POPE isn’t Catholic?
So then they’re stuck with the bear shitting in woods question.
I get a kick out of these extremist religeous weirdos… too bad (sad really) that they truely believe the cr… um… er… stuff they tout.
In any case I guess I would be going to hell according to these folks… first strike against me- I am Jewish
Are these people like the Catholic version of fundies?
24 is the kicker though -
As hard as it is to think of one public official who hasn’t been disqualified by that point, that person has to find an administration full of people or else become disqualified.
It really would be impossible to vote.
*“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measurement ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote (speck) that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and them shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” *
Matthew 7:1-5
Seems like these folk do a bit of selective reading, don’t you think?
I stopped reading after I found out that everyone in the Northern Hemisphere is an automatically excommunicated Catholic.
Oh, I didn’t notice Father Mohlomi Makobane. I guess everyone in the Southern Hemisphere is out too.
Really, I wasn’t able to finish reading the page. Do these people actually endorse anyone?
“Le ciel est Bleu… l’enfer est Rouge!!!”
Heh, I knew all those Reagan voters would be going straight to Hell.
