I’m only 3 episodes in, but I agree. I was just saying to my sister that if someone that there’s no way someone that’s not invested in the story would be able to watch this.
She reminds me of someone I know. I tried to find a good video (she’s an elected official) and couldn’t. Similar hair, same voice, rambles, talks out of the side of her mouth etc.
One point of evidence that I cannot wrap my head around is how did Colburn call in Halbach’s plates two days before the car was discovered?
I’ve seen people hand waving it away by saying that he was just verifying with dispatch that the plate information and vehicle description was what he was looking for, but you would think that he would just ask the dispatcher that upfront instead of acting like he was running plates.
And never mind. If you listen to the video, he says near the beginning of the call something like “Can you see if it comes back to that…”; it’s sort of hard to hear because the dispatcher is talking over him, but the State’s version of that call makes sense: Colburn is out on patrol looking for that vehicle and he wanted to make sure that the plate numbers he had written down were correct.
