My mother and my husband both think I have malaria. That’s some kind of exciting, right there. I tell you whut.
I’ve been miserable sick since Thursday night. Going to the doctor this morning. I’ll keep ya posted.
Wow. How do you think you caught it? Have you been out of the country lately? Malaria isn’t something you see everyday in Missouri. But according to the CDC, there 19 cases diagnosed there in 2000.
I hope you get to feeling better soon.
Just got back from the doctor. I don’t have malaria - I have a very very bad urinary tract/kidney infection. Yay! 
Things I learned today:
1200 people are diagnosed with malaria in the US each year
Malaria can remain dormant in your liver for up to 4 years
It takes 8 days for malaria to incubate in a mosquito
My mother and husband are kinda crazy
