Malcolm Got Fingered?
I didn’t realize this was the last episode, but of course I thought it was by the time it was over.
All in all, a good episode. Is the MITM episode timeline anywhere near right, should they be graduating already? Dewey’s voice is definitely changing. I guess Jamie still hasn’t said anything?
I always thought MITM was a clever, underrated show. I’ll definitely miss it.
When it was over I was sort of left thinking, “That’s it?” But only for a moment.
It made sense that they would end the show like this, with just a normal episode. No hour-long special, no behind-the-scenes clips, no rambling schmaltzy retrospective. Just a nice, normal episode that happened to wrap up a few loose ends.
Boring.
But give me a Reese spin-off? Gold. He is top chef at a swank restaurant. Hilarity ensues.

Just got to see this through the magic of DVR. Great show and I will indeed miss it. I liked the finale and thought it tied up everything fairly well. Resse will never be a chef because no matter how good is culinary skills are he’s just too much of a luanatic to stick with something for very long.
Any chance they will release the entire series on DVD?
This show is one of our guilty pleasures. We were latecomers, so there is plenty of Malcolm we haven’t seen yet.
Bummer that the Real Life Lois and The Guy From The West Wing (married to each other in real life) both got laid off in the same year.
It’s on every night on syndication (at 10:30pm) here in Chicago.
I curl up in bed with my WSJ and watch it before hitting the hay.
This is one of the few shows I would get on DVD.
My only complaint with the finale (minor as it is) is with Craig. They made him out to be a little too effeminate at the end.
Otherwise, a nice little send off.
Since the hread came back from the depths, I’ll take this opportunity to as ka MITM question-
The brunette Krelborne girl that was set up to be a romantic interest for Malcolm years ago… How was she written out of the show? Or did she just disappear like most of the Krelbornes?
If you’re talking about Cynthia, I don’t know…except that she’s on the island with the Lost folks these days.
I missed this ep! 
She disappeared while most ofthe Krelbornes were still around…moved to Israel, I think. She came back for one episode involving “DD-Day”, which was hilarious.
Then she disappeared again.

I’m sorry that they dropped the Krelboynes from the show. There were some good characters there.
My favourite scene is still either Hal on the roller-skates or Hal and Craig doing the DVR contest.
“we’ve lost him Lois, he belongs to everyone now” (or something to that effect).
Unless there was an episode about the two of them attempting to win a TiVo that I missed, I believe you mean DDR contest (Dance Dance Revolution).

Great episode though.
Perhaps the comic book store episode merits similar praise?

Let’s hope he saved his money. Both the Mom and Dad might do well (or continue to do well) as character actors.
