I haven’t been watching MitM alot this season, but I’ll watch the finale. It’s long overdue.

I haven’t watched this show in at least a year and I was surprised at how much the boys had grown.
I had tears in my eyes by the time Malcolm’s mom made her little speech. It was a sweet end.
I missed it. WHAT HAPPENED!?!??!!?
I’ve only been watching sporadically the last year or two–but I watched this.
That was one of the better series finales I’ve seen. Just the right mix of sentimentality and belly laughs (Hal at the loan shark, Francis’s fate, etc.).
Surbey:
Malcolm goes to Harvard, but working several jobs just to scrape by. According to Lois, he’s to become POTUS.
Dewey, according to Hal, is to breeze through life rich and happy.
Reese becomes the janitor at his high school (after a bit of scheming to get the job).
Francis gets a 9-5 doing data entry in a cubicle and loves it. But he won’t tell Lois, preferring to let her think he’s jobless so he can milk the drama and enmity.
Lois is pregnant again.
That’s what happened to 'em all in a nutshell.
They kept up the gag about their surname I actually though it’d be revealed in the finale. I was also afraid they’d pull a Galactica and morph Malcolm’s gradutation speech into his inaugural speech.
Although I didn’t even watch this show anymore, and I know it was time for it to go. I still feel a little sad that it’s gone. I mean, I remember when the pilot episode aired.

Malcom and Steve were also offered a six figure computer program writing job, which Lois immediately turned down, though they didn’t have the money to send him to Harvard. Why? Because she wanted him to suffer like a common person before becoming POTUS.
If Lois had been my mother and had done such a thing, I would have strangled her with my bare hands.
There was also a hilarious story involving Reese and his grandmother making an enormous stink bomb, which exploded in the family car with the whole family in it.
The family’s surname is revealed on Francis’ military school name tag in the first episode.
Wilkerson was supposed to be their surname, but the creators decided not the reveal the family’s name to avoid revealing their ethnic background. The nametag was a goof.
Was it just me or did Piama(sp?) look exceptionally hot?!
Piama is always exceptionally hot.
What was up with the X-rays? I missed the first ten minutes.
It was proof of the boys tricking their mother into believing she had cancer. Also known as, “The Nuclear Option.”
…Malcolm, Reese & Dewey agreed to destroy the evidence since Malcolm & Reese were moving out. Dewey arranged a ceremonial burning in the birdbash in the backyard, but when the X-Ray fell out of the closet it was revealed that Dewey didn’t really burn it. At the very end, we saw Dewey setting up his own “Nuclear Option” with Jaime. 
That’s pretty much how I felt about it as well.
I also think that they chose a good time to pull the plug on MitM. While I’ve always been a big fan and have seen every episode, I felt that the quality of the show has been slowly declining over last two or three seasons.
I’m always sad when a show I like ends, but at least this one had a good, long run. The finale was the show’s 151st episode.

Any chance of a spin off? I could see a Malcolm at Harvard show doing ok.
I’d rather see the reunion movie 10 years from now.
I’d rather Fox hadn’t schemed to hide every other episode this season. But that’s just me

IMHO, the best part of this episode was the revelation of the ‘plan’ that Lois and Hal had for the boys… and all this time we thought they were clueless…
I would look forward to the “Commander and Chief” episode where Malcom takes the Oath of Office.
