Back in the day when i went to school absolutely not true. The kids who had to go to college, but had no idea what to do, or were in over their heads took the social sciences cause it was easy.
I took a few of those courses to fill out criteria I had to take, and was astounded at how easily bullshit was accepted in those departments. Granted this was 101 and 102 stuff, but still.
