– Los Angeles scene
– Chicago scene
– newspaper column
– wrote a novel
– hobnobbed with some other famous type
Nowadays the purchase of a smart phone with a camera permits anybody and everybody the chance to be “famous for a day” and to run up thousands of hits on the social media.
