Even as a man, I can say that Harry Connick Jr. got a set of pipes that I wish I had.
My girlfriend seems to be quite enamored of Al Green and that guy from Creed.
Well, I would have to say that for me, Trent Reznor is the one that does it. I think David Bowie falls on that list, too. There’s just something about their voices…
I think Sting is great. I also like Dave Matthews. Plus I like the main singer for Savage Garden, don’t know his name.
Mmm…
Dmitri Hvorostovsky
Brian Stokes Mitchell
Alfred Drake
Rather baritone heavy; I’ll throw in a tenor - Nicolai Gedda.
Oh, and my good friend (bass-baritone,) “The Pirate King.” He makes straight men and gay women swoon.
Perspective from another generation:
Lou Rawls
Brook Benton
and of course, the Chairman of The Board
Mandy Patinkin (sp?)
I’ll second Alfred Drake
Bing Crosby
Barry White
Finally, another Jeff Buckley fan! I must agree… when I hear his voice, I just want to scream, “Take me, I’m yours!” But, um, let’s not get carried away or anything…
Oh, BTW… Stephen Jenkins’ voice is pretty damn sexy, too… (Third Eye Blind)
Billy Corgan, lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins…okay, so I’m strange.
The lead singer of Creed.
Lead singer of Rammstein. I dunno, that low German growling voice does something to me.
No question, hands down - Lyle Lovett does it for me. Oh yes, his voice is all rumpled and sleepy, like he just got out of bed…
OOOOh… I forgot about the lead singer of Creed! Oooo-la-la! …
ANYWAY…
Red Hot Chili Peppers…
Oh, and let’s not forget Eminem… It’s odd, I know, but his bad-boy thing is pretty hot…
Wow, eight smilies in one post! That’s gotta be my new record.
Leonard Cohen
Peter Murphy
David Bowie
Chris Isaacs
Eddie Vedder
Chris Isaak
Some of you can guess who I’m gonna say.
The man with the sexiest voice, in fact he is simply known as “The Voice”.
Tom Jones
mmmmmm.
::tosses undies::
Someone I thought of who I think deserves a mention. Rufus Wainwright. He’s got to be the most underrated singer out there.(no pun intended) I’m especially partial to his song “Baby” which is just about the best torch song written in the last 50 years. Whenever I listen to this song, i get unbearably horny.
Eddie Veder. Rrrrrow.
Rob Thomas, from Matchbox 20. I lose it every time I hear “Smooth.” sigh
Also partial to Neil Diamond and Antonio Banderas (but he’s only on the Evita soundtrack ).
Gary Allen swoon
