What I’m wondering about, is the article says that the contractor is going to get 50% of the final sale price. Presumably, the other half is going to the dealer he’s working with? Isn’t that dealer kind of ripping him off royally? I thought the standard fee for that sort of thing was 10%.
Saw that myself and thought what a rip off.
I wonder though, would he have to pay tax on the sale price? I’m not sure how tax works in the US on that sort of ‘windfall’? So maybe after tax he gets half?
