A good friend of mine tried to microwave some mango pieces for his toddler.
He put them in the nuker for 10 seconds to take the chill off. They promptly caught
fire. I found this hard to believe but he is a stickler for accuracy and is not know to exaggerate especially were fire in the home is concerned. Is this a property inherent
in mangoes or is this a hardware malfunction? Anyone heard of this before

I’ve never heard of mangos doing anything interesting in a microwave before, but I do know that can grapes make an interesting show so I’m not terribly surprised.
I don’t know why but this caught me just right and I laughed my head off. I’m sorry I shouldn’t laugh at your friend’s misfortune but I never even heard of this. I eat mangoes all the time and I could totally see myself doing this. Bwahahaha.
