How did you do that? I could not.
I just did a copy/paste of the schedule. I didn’t do any formatting or editing whatsoever except to cut off the end so it isn’t so long. I couldn’t do it in Edge, but I was able to in Chrome. I think what makes the difference is a little extension I have called Don’t Fuck With Paste:

This add-on is advertised as not stopping you from copying from “input” fields (like passwords). Does it do more than that?
I can’t even highlight to be able to highlight/copy/paste on that link.
I don’t really even know what that means. What I do know is that I can copy text from any page. I haven’t had a problem since I started using it.
The “trick” I used was to start highlighting the words before or after the schedule. Then just drag up or down and it will capture the schedule in the table. Then paste into notepad or whatever and remove the parts you don’t want.
You must be using an add-on or have a system difference. That doesn’t work in barebones Chrome on Win 7.
ETA: I take that back. It is possible to copy, but while you are selecting the text, it doesn’t show the selection on the screen. Pasting into Notepad reveals the text was indeed copied.
I noticed this with the NYT, but It’s pretty easy to get around (just like their paywall).
I’m using Windows 8.1 and IE 11. It shows the selected text in the table as well.
Many web pages are forms, like when you place an order for something to be shipped, or login to a site. Some fields are protected against pasting. For example, when you create an account, some sites prohibit pasting into the “confirm password” box or a “confirm email address” as a security measure. Pasting the same text twice would defeat the purpose of the box, which is to make sure you really know what data you are entering. Otherwise you could paste the same typo twice.
When all is said and done, if the browser has to present something to you, you have it. You just may have to do a workaround to get the browser to cooperate with you instead of the server that sent the data.
