Also, I started another [thread=624523]thread[/thread] a few weeks ago about the Mapping Stereotypes Project, and it does include a few “According to Americans” maps (as well as maps of the world according to other nationalities). That thread pretty much turned into a discussion of how the US and Canada view each other, but there’s much more interesting stuff on that site.
I had no idea that the Muslim part of Cyprus was the eastern part…
