Mapping software that uses political jurisdictions

I’m using MS Mappoint 2004 and would like to create some graphs and charts based on political jurisdiction. The only options in Mappoint are Country, State, County, Metro, Zip, and Census Tract.

I’ve looked online for plugins that would help, but no luck.

Anyone have any thoughts? If it helps, the regions I’m looking in are Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky.

I don’t know if you’ve looked at ArcView. Our village bought it a couple years ago. It may well be out of your price range, but it seems to do what you’re looking for.

heh, yeah that’s pretty far out of our price range, I’m sure. But thanks for the link just in case.
