Are there any maps/articles available (preferably online) showing the current deployment of US military forces? Obviously I’m not looking for ‘and here is the top secret nuclear submarine’ type of stuff, just something that compiles the various reports of ‘carrier X is going here’ and ‘air force squadron Y is at this base’. I’ve poked around a bit on news sites, but there doesn’t seem to be any compilation like this that I can find.
The Navy Times used to have* maps of what carrier groups were deployed where…dunno about the Army/AF Times.
*“Used to”, because I haven’t seen a Navy times in 4 or so years. Also, the Navy Times is online, but most articles are available to only subscribing members to the paper.
