Tough choice, but I wouldn’t have picked either as the top Beatles songs.
I’ll go with Help! if and only if it’s the version with the James Bondish music at the beginning.

There seems to be some major disappointment at the results of the tourney. I don’t think this type of March Madness tourney always yields the best (team, song, whatever). It just helps decide the winners of 63 matchups. Sometimes great teams lose to good teams, and good songs lose to mediocre ones.
So for those who are disappointed with the top four or two or champion, I’ll say that whichever of these two comes out on top, it’s the deserving song-- based on this set up, it deserved to win because it received the most votes round after round after round. Was the set up flawed? No more so than the NCAA’s brackets year after year. (But that’s just mho)
No less than 44 people voted in any given round. So you can’t say the numbers weren’t there. My favorite Beatles song is: Sexy Sadie. It got destroyed by A Day in the Life in the first round. Am I disappointed? Nah, it just makes for good discussion. Plus a collaborative survey-style tourney isn’t about what one person thinks should be the “winner.” What fun would that be?
That being said, I vote for A Day in the Life
