Marco Rubio presidential campaign discussion thread.

Cubans aren’t Mexicans, true. Cuban votes actually matter since they are concentrated in a swing state with a lot of electoral votes.

And I thought it was said before that their vote does not matter. My Sub-Etha Sens-O-Matic tells me that once again a point of **adaher **was sent through time an space and the universe that has it for him is likely to change the past to embarrass him.

Sure enough  :

No, in Florida, Latino votes do matter. They just aren’t likely to flip any other states on their own.

Looks like our boot-wearing friend loved the Cruzin’ life as well

Well, if being in a park with a friend who paid men to have sex with each other 17 years later doesn’t make you gay, I don’t know what does.

I claim bragging rights!

I never posted Chapter Two of 2016: Political thriller come true. What was the point? Truth is weirder than fiction.

See, if you attack men by suggesting they are gay or effeminate or cuckolds, you win all of the things. Who needs evidence? Evidence is for betas.

Your link is to reddit board titled The_Donald, and the post is someone saying how he and another friend from a Trump fansite researched this. I’d say it’s not impossible that Rubio has had gay trysts, but I wouldn’t say the evidence definitely leads to that being proven.

Rubio is opposed to gay rights, even if maybe not as vehemently as others, so if there was evidence that he had been having secret gay flings, I think that would be relevant. But I don’t think this evidence is going to convince anyone.

The fact we can go 12 days between post #183 and #184 says an awful lot about Rubio’s sinking chances.

All the more true when the revival by Qin Shi Huangdi is to report on a potentially disqualifying scandal.

I probably should have noted this when I first posted the revelations, but I’m a member of the supposed “Trump fansite” which is actually a US politics discussion forum that is a spinoff of Dave Leip’s Election Atlas Forum and thus is in no sense a “Trumpist” forum. If anything it is a fairly left-leaning forum. I can fully vouch for the persons who did this fantastic detective job and hope the major media outlets follow up on it.

For an (apparent) woman you have a masterful grasp of intra-male politics at its most basic.

Li’l Marco says the recent snowstorm was a good thing, because federal employees couldn’t get to work to create new regulations, and Obama’s pen is frozen so he can’t issue any new executive orders.

Despicable

Well, sure, but he’s moderately despicable. He can reach his gnarled claw across the aisle to compromise Democrats and bring them to a contemptible consensus, so that corrupt bargains can be made, and we will finally see things getting done. Bad things for the most part, but still…things! Getting done!

I think it was actually “being in a park with a friend who * owned the company that was the landlord* of someone who paid men to have sex with eachother 17 years later”. The court summary just says Rubio’s friends company allowed a separate business to operate on one of their properties. Plus the reedit post fails to mention that according to Rubio’s friend, their primary Highschool activity was “looking for pretty girls”, an activity which doesn’t exactly scream “flaming homosexual”. I’d say the evidence for Rubio’s friend being gay is nil, never mind the weird attempt to prove Rubio is gay by some weird “six degrees of separation” type game.

Well, not really. Rubio’s just not making news. And why should he? He’s the leader among the “sane” candidates. All he has to do is not fuck up too badly before the primaries so he can start amalgamating the other establishment candidates’ votes when they inevitably drop out.

Are they going to pull out all the quotes from people saying a single term senator doesn’t have enough experience to be president?

Probably, though Rubio has served two more years of his Senate term than Obama did, and spent more time in the state legislature (and was Speaker of the Florida House for two years).

Well, I’ve already admitted that he’s not ready to be President. I think most Republicans feel that way, but winning comes first and we figure he’s smart enough to not do to the Republicans what Obama did to the Democrats.

He’s not smart enough to try to get very important Republican priorities passed legislatively?

One thing’s for sure: a President looks a lot smarter when his party controls Congress than when Congress is implacably hostile to anything and everything.
