Yesterday was Lucy Boot’s birthday. She doesn’t post around here because she’s my dog. And she’s five now.

I think Lucy should have a Mad Scientist Lab Dog Coat. no particular reason, I just think she should have one. What did she get for her birthday? You did buy her presents, didn’t you? Or at least give her a special treat for dinner, right?
I am happy happy happy right now. Two months ago we went through a real long and in general pita accreditation process at work. Lucky me, it’s my job to make sure we do stuff like maintain accreditation. Today we found out we got a three-year accreditation. That’s the highest accreditation awarded. Yay us! Yay me cause I get a bonus for it. 
Happy late birthday Lucy Boot. I’m telling daddy to give you a hug from me.

Thank you, everyone for your kind wishes. I have been so distracted by my cares and woes that would have forgotten entirely if one of my other sisters hadn’t reminded me this morning.
You made me smile, and that was something I needed more than I realized.
