I have a feeling gerrymandering or old age are the only ways she’ll be put out of a job. Her supporters love her schtick. And it probably has another 20 years to run.
When Trump runs again, I’d be willing to bet Empty Greene would be his running mate.
One of the things my high school Government, or perhaps it was university, instructor emphasized was that impeachment was a political process. It’s outside the normal judicial system and run by elected officials. But being a political process doesn’t make it illigitimate in and of itself. But as we’re seeing with MTG, you can certainly dilute the threat of impeachment by using it like she does.
Keep in mind that Margarine Failure Groane ran unopposed due to the Democrat in the race dropping out for personal reasons, so she was going to win no matter how many votes she got.
Now if she gets reelected, then her constituents got some ‘splainin’ to do.
I doubt they expect anything of her. She’s just a fun, gun totin’ mascot for her district.
