So Marlboro’s sent me a 15 minute calling card. I’ve scanned and squinted for the fine print, and there isn’t any. What’s the catch?
You need a phone?
Well, no. And I’ve never used a calling card. Aren’t they supposed to be useful for remote long-distance calling?
I had one a long time ago. You use it at a public phone by dialing a #, then entering a PIN.
If you’re getting this card from smoking, getting a phone is the least of your problems.
Peace,
mangeorge
I got one good for thirty minutes, and according to what the flyer says, I can get one for sixty minutes if I answer a survey before February something-or-other. There’s a 1-800 number on the card’s flyer.
It also says you can use it with any touch-tone phone. Doesn’t specify a payphone. I was wondering if it would be good for using with a prepaid cell phone. If so, I’m giving it to my husband.
Only “catch” I could glean from it was answering their survey. Might be more to it. I’ll let you know when I reply to the survey!
Ok, took the three minute, fifty-one second survey. They ask like five questions and make sure the mailing address was correct. Oh, but make sure you have the flyer the card came in; they want that number for verification, I guess.
Anyway, I get my sixty-minute card pretty soon. No catch.
[sub]P.S. I get coupons and stuff all the time from Marlboro, and have for years. So far there has never been any catch, except I save money on my smokes.[/sub]
