Well, yes, it was. Trolls troll for attention. Their reward is to have their threads read. Deleting troll threads (and posts, when it won’t mess up continuity) is the surest method we’ve found for deterring trolls. It’s not perfect, but it’s a heck of a lot better than letting them stay in view, even if we close them.
