Marrige in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth

Long time lurker, first time poster. (No pie, I’m sorry.)
How did marriage work for serfs and peasants in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth? (I know that some lords required a marriage fee from any prospective serf couples.)

Were marriages arranged by parents, or what? What age did people usually marry at? (I’m mostly wondering about the mid-1500s, or somewhere along in there.)
Thanks!

Hi History Monk, and welcome.
I’ve got absolutely nothing to offer as far as an answer to your question, but I do find it an interesting question.

This article might be a good start, and give you sources for more information:

Thank you. My Google-fu appears to be lacking.
