Marvel binge watch order?

I’m not much of a fan, but I do enjoy watching each Marvel property once. Sort of like James Bond or Tom Cruise movies.

Last thing I saw was the second Infinity Stone movie when it came to cable. At the time I binged the previous handful of Marvel movies I had been saving on the DVR, all for the first and only time, and haven’t seen anything since.

Just now on reddit I ran across what I assume is a major spoiler for the new Dr Strange movie, but I don’t really care about spoilers in general, and for these* in particular I don’t really care about the storylines at all, so no harm no foul. But it did make me think I’d kind of like to catch up to current.

(*I am still unspoiled and would like to stay that way about Wandavision, which I’m genuinely interested to see.)

So what would I be looking at if I wanted to watch all the marvel properties since Endgame? Movies and TV shows, preferably in the order they were released. If there were multiple shows that ran at the same time and did crossovers, I’ll watch each episode in chronological order. I’d really rather not have to do that though.

For context, when I first got Netflix I binged all seasons in chronological order for Daredevil / Jessica Jones / Luke Cage / Iron Fist / Punisher / that combo season. Much of Luke Cage and almost all of Iron Fist were a slog, but Punisher season 2 was so good I ended up rewatching several hours of it. (I wanted to rewatch the original bar fight but then got sucked in for the rest of the season. I only watched scenes with Frank and the girl, FFWDing through the tedious Billy stuff.)

All that to say many hours of material won’t scare me off. I have not yet used my free trial of Disney+.

Also, is now a good time? If there were a new show/season about to premiere in a month, and Disney+ stretches them out one a week so it takes two months before the whole thing airs, then I would wait three months. I’m not in a hurry to start.

(Eventually I will have the exact same question about Star Wars, but I don’t even remember the last Star Wars property I saw. They’ve all been so unmemorable…)

Looks like this should cover the actual order (I originally thought it was only movies):

I’ll be starting with Spider-Man: Far From home it looks like.

Anything coming up on the horizon? Any reason I should hold off for a bit?

If you’re planning to do a free Disney+ trial, to binge the TV series available there, I’d suggest waiting until all of the upcoming She-Hulk: Attorney At Law episodes have been released (starts August 17th; 9th and last episode drops on October 12th–info from IMDB). There have been many TV series, so look those up and see what your time investment would look like for that month. As for the series’ quality, I have enjoyed them all, some more than others, but I believe all of them are worth watching.

Wow, six series! Checking WandaVision as a sample, IMDb says nine episodes around 30-42 minutes each, so figure 5.5 hours total. That’s what, two Marvel movies? Shouldn’t be a problem.

Contrast that with to nightmare that was 13 one-hour episodes of Iron Fist. These Disney+ series should fly by.

Disney+ has an option to watch them in chronological order. I was doing that until I got bored with them (too much of a good thing, I’m not much of a binger.)
