I’m looking forward to this, as it’s one of the very few reality shows I like. Conceptually, it’s pretty simple: retail strategist Mary Portas goes to a different independent clothes shop each week and tries to help them shape up business-wise and compete more effectively with chains. The emphasis is very much on the business of fashion, and I think Portas is a natural for television, opinionated but breezy.
