For a bit of a hijack, I have some questions about Klinger’s wife.
For one thing whether or not he had a wife seemed to waver at the whim of the writers. I know at one point he was married in an episode (via shortwave radio, while wearing a wedding dress), and I also remember an episode about his girl leaving him but I don’t think it was clear whether this was his wife or just girlfriend.
And what was her name? Was it Lorraine? I know Blake’s wife name was sometimes Lorraine (and sometimes Mildred), but can’t remember about Klinger’s wife.

Klinger’s wife was named Laverne.
Klinger’s wifes name was Laverne. She left him for a sausage maker. I can’t remember what his name was though.
I should have said Klinger’s first wife was named Laverne. He married the Korean woman in the last season and dragged her off to suffer through “After MAS*H.” I want to say her name was Soon-Lee.
The sausage maker was named Morty.
Yeah, a Lebanese gypsy. He’s said so himself, probably referring to his ancestors’ nomadic way of life.
