Isn’t there a word for the delusional disorder of seeing patterns and things in random data?

Well, you have to take the first step. Masons aren’t allowed to solicit membership.

Nope, we can’t ask you to join. But there is plenty of information available for anyone thinking about Masonry. All you need to do is find a Mason and ask him for some info.

I’d be very quiet and sit at the back - I’d be no trouble…
I’ve even got my own apron

Masons are cool.

In Eastern European masonry, I hear they let women join.

Well, here in the States there is a companion organization known as the Eastern Star that the women participate in. They are almost totally integrated, with the exception of tyling the Lodge…

O

Hiryuu, please come and share your insights with the folks in this thread.

This is not proven, one way or the other. Bacteria has a pretty good shot of still kicking on Mars if life ever made it’s way to that planet. Intelligent life? Alot less likely, but not impossible. Until we get some people on the surface with pick axes, one cannot definitively say there is (was) no such thing as Martians.

It’s true. No secret Mason conspiracy. It’s all very much out in the open.

The History Channel has a documentary on masonic history in the United States. It is well worth the time to watch it. George Washington was a member. Ken Burn’s Jefferson biogumentary makes no mention of him being a mason. Mason’s were very respected until the middle 1800s when some of them got a little too excited about keeping secrets and then a conspiracy scare erupted in public. I am not a mason, but I know a bunch. They do charitable work and are quite nice and having nothing to do with political power in my local area. I’m involved in local politics and the people who are masons do not show up at political events of any nature and just aren’t interested in politics in beyond somebody who is just making conversation.
