One of my clients is an art gallery. Visitors to the gallery have signed up to be notified of upcoming shows - on a paper list, including a signature, so there is not question of the legitimacy of this mass e-mail. They have roughly 700 vetted and verified addresses of people who genuinely want this information. OK?
The problem is that their ISP, AT&T, will reject any single e-mail with more than 25 BCC’d recipients. And has a hard limit of 100 mails per day. Which means that it will take them a week to notify their clients, assuming that they don’t send any other e-mails during the week.
I need recommendations for how they can accomplish this task. I’ve looked at Campaigner.com, and it seems geared for larger businesses. But the idea of automated opt-out is nice. But I have to make sure that whatever solution is chosen, their e-mail won’t wind up in junk folders.
