It’s not a petty personal attack, sailor. It’s an accurate description of the contents of your postings of late: petty attacks on America. You are intentionally ignoring the facts as I pointed them out to you and in this case you’re also ignoring the facts that your hero, the terrorist, has already been tried, convicted, and sentenced. Now you’re talking about giving him forgiveness. His crime continued until the moment he was captured: Flight from Justice. That doesn’t show any contrition whatsoever. And instead of blaming the actual criminal, you blame America.
You are also intentionally ignoring the facts of the matter over the lootings in Iraq. And whom do you blame for that? Of course, you blame America.
Various nations went after suspected NAZI war criminals for years after the war was over. There was an eastern orthodox bishop extradicted to West Germany from the United States in 1982 to face charges of war crimes committed during WWII. That’s 37 crime free years after the war had ended. Some crimes just don’t have a statute of limitation.
When I see statements like these I actually expect the guys making them to be able to back them up. Otherwise it boils down to ranting, strawmen and ad hominem. So where are the cites, guys?
I think present day terrorists should be converted into dead ex-terrorists and apologetic ex-terrorists should be converted into convicted murderers. What Muslims need are more men who have never been terrorists. Men like Abbas have given their religion a permanent black eye, despite their remorse.
So when do we send the troops into Saudi Arabia (they’re already in the neighborhood) and pick up Idi Amin? Before or after we finally finish off Gaddafy (who, after all, has killed Americans and somehow is still allowed to live)?
