Two-parter airing on PBS April 22 & 29: Birdsong

For those of us who are still experiencing withdrawal from Downton Abbey. It sounds a bit grim in the Wall Street Journal review-- slogging through WWI trenches and all-- but the review also says, “As a tapestry of time and place, *Birdsong *is a wonder to behold.”

Same time as Mad Men, so I’ll be recording both. :cool:

Darn–it’s on the same time as Mad Men, and the rerun is on the same time as Smash. Maybe they’ll show it over the weekend, too.
