This is one of those things that I have spent countless hours trying to break. For those that need to know, it has been said that any design, no matter how complicated, can be colored with only 4 colors. The only condition is that the same color can’t come in contact with itself in the design. Since I have spent so much time I wondered if someone could spare me the suspense by offering some sort of mathematical proof that it is impossible to create said design. Thanks.
