Matt Helm from the novels, not the movies gawd dammit.
My money is on Helm. He usually arranges to get caught to get to the guy he is assigned to kill, but McGee blunders around in a worse way.
Mine, too. Helm is a nice guy if you’re not the enemy, but he is a no-nonsense, very savvy guy who will not hesitate to kill. And, has done so in a stone cold fashion when it is necessary.
McGee is one of my favorite characters, but he simply has no business even being in the same poll as Helm.
One of my favorites from Helm: If you’ve got a gun pointed at someone, and someone else comes up, points a gun at you and tells you to drop it, you immediately shoot the guy the gun is pointed at and then turn and try to shoot the guy who has the drop on you. Takes absolutely no time at all to eliminate half of the bad guys.

This is a gun. Point it at the middle of the bad guy. Pull the long, skinny thing that comes out the bottom until it stops making noise.
And he will be distracted so that you might be able to shoot him, too.
BUt what if Mac is pissed off at McGee?
Jack Reacher could take either of them.
My opinion is that this will do better in Cafe Society.
