I never thought of the “impressing the ladies” bit when learning cerise among others,but merely noted them as stable colors as reported in the program at the racetrack.I always looked at it as pinkish before my indoctrination.
A few sessions there should pump up your color vocabulary,tho may be detrimental to your financial status with the lady.
Try taking an art class, or at the very least, browsing the paint aisles at your nearest craft or hardware store. Not only are there books on color, there are also millions of paint tubes and cans that are labeled for easy reference. As a last resort, buy a box of 64 crayola crayons and take a trip back to kindergarten for awhile. Most color names that people know by heart are in there.
