Snap out of it. I got the best job of my life with my brothers recommendations, and he didn’t ask me, and he puffed my credentials way above my ability. After the job ended, the employers didn’t even remember me, but kept being friends with my brother just the same.

Well, I’d just as soon keep my “blls” concealed - as well as keep my job. Clearing something with our ethics officer is merely a CYA formality. Perhaps other organizations are far different than mine … In my opinion, well worth the minimal effort to ensure continuance of our family’s income.
