My computer was doing fine until recently…
I was planning to install a 450 MB game. I had 600 and I wanted it to run fast… So I delete 100 mb of stuff I didn’t need… Refresh and my MB is now 227… Ok… So then I go looking around and see under my programs folder something that’s around 350 MB… Delete it, back to 600 or so…
I then decide not to install that game…
Now I keep getting small programs that I didnot ask for at all sneaking into my computer… And my MB amount keeps flunctuating…
Any help?
You make it easier with computer issues if you would – at the very least – provide some computer info and use the nomenclature correctly …
Assuming you mean a Windows-based system, after deleting the unnecessary files, did you empty the recycle bin before installing the game?
Are you running any background programs during the install? There is something to say about running --no-- programs when you do an install. Suggest you run a diagnostics program to check your system. You need to start with a “stable” system before venturing forth.
Oh, yeah. MB by its own traditionally means motherboard. I got what you meant with a game requiring 450 MB of space. The rest of your description got lost because it makes no sense, well, at least to me.
Could be your windows virtual memory caching things to your disk so your drive appears to have less space at times (large items cached) that other times (small items cached).
Now I keep getting small programs that I didnot ask for at all sneaking into my computer…
Like what?
