I’m not sure if McAfee is a virus scan or just a virus.
Some of the versions had a nasty habit of hanging my Windows 95 startup.

McAffee had not crashed me out when starting Windows 95 for several weeks, until just now, the first time I booted since posting my negative comment about McAffee. The damn thing must be reading my posts. It’s self aware, it’s intelligent, and it’s evil.
