McCain supporters: nauseous yet? (Falwell)

About half the Democrats in the Senate voted against the AUMF in Oct, 2002. I think it was about the same in the House, or maybe a bit more.

I think I am using a different definition of liberal than most people in the thread, I am not arguing at this point, I am genuinely confused. Kerry fit in my definition of liberal and the Clintons do not. Most people are telling me I am wrong and I am trying to discover why. I thought providing a little background about myself might help someone understand why I am operating with a different definition. Sorry if that was out of place.

So please let me know, who are the real liberals in the Senate, is it just Feingold?

Jim

When the Senator agreed to give the commencement speech at Liberty College he lost me. A politician who believes that his or her election is the most urgent of all matters has eaten the forbidden fruit. There is, after that, no turning back.

What makes you think you’ll ever find any other kind in office?

That is one of the incurable structural flaws of representative democracy: We end up being led and governed by people who are good at getting elected. The qualities that make that possible are not necessarily the same as the qualities of a good leader or governor.

To prevent any further derailment of this thread by myself, I have started this debate.
Who are the true liberal politicians and what defines liberal? {Please Dems only}

I apologize for the disruptions,
Jim
