Not surprised. I think music increases the likelihood that someone will enter a state of Flow (link to wikipedia)- similar to “being in the zone” in sports or work or play.

Did they do anything to see if other species have a similar reaction? It would be interesting to see if chimps or dogs are affected. Dogs often have behavioral traits more similar to humans than chimps do.
