Meat grease/fertizer.

I have a bag of frozen meat grease (don’t ask).
If it were to be poured in my garden would it help?

When doing a compost pile, you are instructed to NOT add meat/protein/grease. It decomposes too slowly to be of any good to a gardener.

I thought the reason that you didn’t want to put meat grease in a compost pile was because it would attract animals.
