I’m new to these boards and I could have sworn there was a place to post medical questions. Well, here’s one. This is kinda embarrasing, but… Between my leg and my scrotum (in the inner part there) I have an itch red ring with a bruise in the center. I thought it was jock itch, but would it be isolated to that one ring. And would there be a bruise. It’s about the size of a quater and has been there for about three weeks. Can anyone help?

heheh, you are quick on that one swimming. Yes, most likely it IS ringworm. THe more you itch it the bigger that ring gets. Nasty buggers come from the soil.
I don’t think a $100 doc visit is necessary, but a pharmacy should have something just for it.
NOTE: Is is VERY contagious.
Sounds like ringworm alright. Ringworm is a fungus, not actual worms. A lotrimin type ointment may clear it up.
