Ha! The same thing happend to my best friend was in labor. The kid took his time coming out, and by the end all she wanted to do was get it over with so she could go to the Red Lobster across the street (nice view of the sign out the window of her room).

Well, I’m glad Mrs. Bricker is ok; scares like that suck & GI pain is the worst!
And I understand the whole food restrictions cravings…when I was pregnant with my daughter, I had gestational diabetes. The first thing I wanted after giving birth was Fannie Mae chocolates…mmmm!
Do they still make those fluffy mint things, in dark and light chocolate? OMG, we used to get a box of those from relatives every Christmas. Sadly, relatives die.
So glad to hear that the patient is doing much better. That type of pain is a total drag, and waiting around for doctors to confer and mingle is always a pain (pun intended).
