Somebody must be buying those Obama masks.
What about a wig? Hair style can be “cultural appropriation” or racism or something to offend as well. I can link several articles that make that claim. It’s just so bizarre that weaponized language has come so far and has been so effective.
Get back to your fainting couch, you hypocritical fuckstain.
I’m sure Fox will welcome her back with open, groping hands. Or she can do like the other disgraced former Fox hosts do and get herself a YouTube channel where she can commiserate with weeping conservatives about how unfair it is you can’t demean minorities like the good old days.

I expect she’ll be working for Trump in about an hour. Or Infowars.
Don’t you recall that Trump made his infamous “ blood was coming out of her whatever” remark about Kelly after she dared to ask him a real question during a debate. I’m surprised he hasn’t gloated on Twitter about her cancellation yet.
Pointing out hypocrisy and intellectual inconsistencies is NOT hypocrisy you projecting, bloviating windbag.
Maybe not, but pointing to different people with different thoughts on the offensiveness of “cultural appropriation” or wearing of wigs is NOT pointing out hypocrisy, unless you think every single person who identifies as “liberal” thinks the exact same thing about every topic ever discussed ever.
You have done neither, you vomitous, dissembling nitwit. Flee now to whatever fungal crevice you emerged from and remoisten your mucus glands for more phony wailing outrage, thou lump of foul deformity.

A: I’m not outraged.
b: I’m typing this while wearing a wig and working on my tan call the PC police.
Now that is a good Pit post.
Maybe he’ll get around to it between whining about how no one is paying attention to HIM because of all this “bomb” stuff.
The Bard is always good for a quality insult.

I really don’t think this has to do with PC, or politics, or liberals, or anything else other than business. Had they kept her on, NBC would have been the “blackface is OK” network.
Guests were already cancelling their appearances on the show. Advertisers were soon to follow. Soon the show would be reduced to interviewing the likes of David Duke or the Proud Boys, their advertising limited to Confederate flags, pickups, firearms, and maybe pork rinds and beer. It just isn’t a winning business model for a nationwide broadcast.
My only regret is that she didn’t make it to the Halloween show in which she backed up her convictions with actions, appearing in actual blackface, so that we could all enjoy her career exploding into that much bigger and flamier of a fireball.
If we lived in a just world that had been so for generations, wearing blackface would be no worse than dyeing your hair. We don’t live in that world, and I can see why black people who live in this one don’t want to be reminded of minstrel shows. I don’t know about wigs, as I don’t know what cultural appropriation is.
FWIW, I think usage of certain gender-specific insults crosses a certain line: I try not to do that myself. I don’t police others though. I don’t think gendered insult is as harmful as iiandyiiii believes. On some level I think there are greater fish to be fried. Separately, don’t want to disarm myself of the term hysteric, though mindfulness of language is something for this awkward wordsmith to aspire to.
Calling a birth control advocate a slut crosses a 2nd line IMHO, for reasons I can’t quite articulate. It sounds pretty ugly though, below the belt. That’s worth a mention, even if it’s from a 6 year old thread. Is it worth denouncing though, given that it happened 6 years ago and targeted nobody on this messageboard? Not in my view. But there’s lots of over-reaction in the pit. It’s what we do. Not a good thing I say, though I advocate a sizable carve out for ironic outrage.
…this is fucking creepy.
Perhaps the definition of the word is relevant.
The primarily understood usage is to call someone “obnoxious or stupid.” Its very typically used this way throughout the commonwealth. In that context it isn’t a gendered insult at all.
And if you aren’t trying to play “gotcha games” (how long have you been waiting to play that particular card?) then the context of WOOKINPANUB’s post becomes entirely clear. WOOKINPANUB doesn’t think Megan Kelly is “female genitals.” WOOKINPANUB thinks Megan Kelly is stupid.
It is isn’t it? Your “victory post” reeks of confirmation bias.
If you are monitoring other posters posts in an attempt to “catch them out in a display of hypocrisy” because you are upset at being called out over something you said 6 years ago, I’m gonna suggest that maybe you are being just a little bit thin-skinned.
And unhinged.
Well… duh!!
Bank robbers, of course.
