I always laugh when I hear people talk about MSNBC as if it is some flagrant bastion of flaming left wing liberalism. Obviously they never watch it. They’re corporate media, same as any of the big cable channels.
They’ve been cluttering up the place with traditional right wing pundits for quite some time: Hugh Hewitt, Greta Van Susteren (now gone), Joe Scarborough, Nichole Wallace and now, Megyn Kelly. They regularly give a platform for commentators from the American Enterprise Institute (Koch brothers) and other conservative think tanks. They wanted to fire Lawrence O’Donnell until public outcry cowed them against doing it.
With the exceptions of Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell, there isn’t much “liberal” about MSNBC.
More on point, did anyone really think Kelly was going to be something different than the right wing dipshit she’s always been?

Yeah, we’re talking about the “Today” show… Matt Lauer, Katie Couric, and a long line of overwieght weather guys.
I saw that, but Megyn Kelly has a new show on MSNBC as well, and I thought they shared interviews between the two channels. I heard about the Debra Messing kerfuffle on MSNBC. I take your point, though.
I need to know what has to go through someone’s head to:
a) have a thought like that go through your head in the first place
b) cause the idiot filter in your head to fail so the the words come out of your mouth
I guess there is still a huge group of people who still, STILL, think it’s an active decision a person makes.

I was going to post a link to this video. It is not surprising that Megyn Kelly said something horrible today. She says horrible things all the time.
Today I caught something in the background with her rambling about wanting to not talk politics anymore but here’s why she’s talking politics this morning even though she wants to get out of politics.
Not impressed. I expected she will be replaced fairly soon.
