The whole album, “Who Came First” should qualify…except for “There’s A Heartache Following Me” I guess.

Jack Johnson’s a good choice. When I describe his music to other people, I usually use the word ‘wistful’.
Some of it can be pretty sad, though. Breakdown is very good at breaking me down when I’m in a low mood. Other than that, though, In Between Dreams is an utterly fantastic album for easy, peaceful, interesting music.
Straight No Chaser made it better. It’s pretty much impossible to be depressed when a cappella group is singing. I’m just sayin.’

To be fair, they pretty much make everything better. Toto cries itself to sleep every night.
“Sex and Candy” by Marcy Playground and “No Rain” by Blind Melon are both sort of mellow songs that always make me smile when I hear them. (Go Bee Girl!)

This is what I was going to say. Uncle John’s Band never fails to put me in a good mood.
Tom Petty is good too.
Tea For The Tillermanby Cat Stevens is both mellow but uplifting, I think. If you’ve ever seen Extras, you’ll recognise it as the theme tune.
Blackbird and Mother Nature’s Son by The Beatles from The White Album both feature Paul in mellow mood.
Big Jumpsby Emiliana Torrini
English Roseby The Jam.
Sweet Georgia Brown is extremely jaunty whilst still remaining cool and mellow.
