accounting is 5th grade arithmatic. 50% of americans have a net worth of less than $10,000. that doesn’t make sense. this society is designed to brainwash most people into being stupid, regardless of sex. but that is probably true in every society. humanity is a conspiracy against itself.

She has maintained an A average in math, physics, chemistry, and this morning she starts calculus. Not only is she beautiful, she is nearly brilliant.
I believe that studies have shown that there is virtually no difference in the abilities of boys and girls but perhaps society has had some influence in the past pushing men into more technical fields that require higher math and sciences.
Well, I did better at math in school, but when it comes to dealing with numbers these days my wife is miles ahead.
I’m not sure about studies, I’ve heard contradicting statements all based on some studies. I still see far fewer women than men in highly technical jobs, presumably math and logic are important in these jobs.

the thing is don’t depend on one book. the interesting thing about RICH DAD, POOR DAD is the study in social-psychology. i think it is correct. a better book for personal finance is: YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE by Joe Doinguez.

sigh Tell you what, here’s a deal, you tell what smart and smarter mean.
The idea of reducing smart and intelligence down to a single quantum of data is like trying to describe your physcial body by simply quoting your height.

It isn’t just cultural bias, the entire concept of IQ as a general measure of intelligence is flawed. (Sorry MENSAns :))

In remembering my school days, I don’t recall one sex over the other of having more chips in the brains department. It was more or less equal in both halves of the honour roll irregardless of the subject.
So I say “no”, based purely on personal observation and memory.
Attempting to refute this arg was the cover story in the Atlantic a couple of months back, titled The War Against Boys, based on a recent book of the same title. The letters to the editor in following months continued the debate. This should be easily available online at theatlantic.com.
