The other is the suit he bought for his high school graduation. I think it’s absolutely hideous - eggplant purple with giant wide lapels, pleated wide-leg pants and shoulder pads fit for a quarterback, circa 1995 - but he loves it, so when he decides that he wants wear it (with his Batman tie, no less) I just smile and dig through my wardrobe for an appropriate outfit that looks good next to eggplant purple. That’s love for ya.

I bought a whitish one for my graduation and I still have it. Several years later I bought a black one because it was cheap and I was going to a wedding. Neither one fits anymore, but happily it’s because they’re too big, not too small.
I own three: a charcoal suit for everyday use (work and such), a black double-breasted pinstriped suit for weddings and fun events, and a brown suit I don’t wear very often, but it is nice to have anyway. I also own black and blue sport coats, and I’ve really gotten into ties lately.
My husband has one suit, worn only at my insistence, and a bunch of shirts. None of which appear to fit him anymore, since he’s apparently put on another two inches across the shoulders. Time to go shopping again.
One suit and a black blazer in my closet currently… I have a navy sports coat but I’m pretty sure I never took it from the 'rents, so it’s probably in the back of a closet somewhere there. I’m 23, and I probably get the chance to wear my suit two or three times a year, tops.
If I had the money to get a nice set of tailored suits, I’d totally become one of those people who wears suits everywhere they’re remotely appropriate. I love how comfortable I feel (and how good I look!) in nice clothes.
I do not own a suit. I own one pair of dress pants, and I only own those because the CEO of our company specifically ordered me to buy them for an occasion when customers were coming into work. When one of the managers saw me wearing dress pants, she took my picture.
I have two suits (though the pants of my black suit are a bit tight), and a few different shirt-and-tie combinations. The idea is they’ll help me in the job search that just begun. . .well, tonight, actually.
I now have visions of Jesus Christ rolling back the stone and shouting, “Suits? You fuckers aren’t wearing suits? Forgive them yet again, Lord, for they know not what they do.”
I own three (actually four, but one is old, worn out and too small). I don’t have to wear one to work, but I like suits. I agree with Happy Scrappy Hero Pup

Suits are like sex. If you’re not on board, chances are you’re under thirteen or just aren’t doing it right.

Good suit is very comfortable - I do some martial arts and I can do anything (roundhouse kicks and the like) when wearing my suit without problem. I actually find jeans more restraining.

And I have one tie that I leave tied because I can’t tie a tie.

Tie-a-tie. It’s easy. It’s fun. It takes like five minutes to learn.
I own 12 suits. I had more, but threw some out that I don’t like the cut of anymore.
I have to wear them for work, but frankly I like them so that’s no issue for me. A properly fitted suit is far more comfortable than a pair of jeans, and looks infinitely better than just t-shirt, trainers and denim. That could be down to personal build and appearance though. In jeans and boots I look like a 30 something thug.
I have to say though, my wife really would like me to throw out one of my favourite 3 piece tweed suits, mainly as I insist on wearing my beloved coke from Lock & Co with it.
I own one, as does every male friend that I know (most also have full Highland Dress for ceileidhs, too). I also had to wear a shirt/tie/blazer at school (I think this is the norm in the UK).
