Men: Do you own a suit?

That’s awesome.

I have two suits. I have worn each of them twice.

I bought a whitish one for my graduation and I still have it. Several years later I bought a black one because it was cheap and I was going to a wedding. Neither one fits anymore, but happily it’s because they’re too big, not too small.

I really should get one.

I’m 24, and nope, no suit to speak of. I haven’t really had occasions happen where one was required.

They come in all colors.

More here.

Here’s Quentin Tarantino looking quite snazzy in one.

I have owned at least 1 suit since I was 16. Current age 48.
They are a must for interviews in my line of work.

I own three: a charcoal suit for everyday use (work and such), a black double-breasted pinstriped suit for weddings and fun events, and a brown suit I don’t wear very often, but it is nice to have anyway. I also own black and blue sport coats, and I’ve really gotten into ties lately.

My husband has one suit, worn only at my insistence, and a bunch of shirts. None of which appear to fit him anymore, since he’s apparently put on another two inches across the shoulders. Time to go shopping again. :stuck_out_tongue:

…the same brand favored by the late John Gotti. I also have a zegan shirt, tie, and Corneliani shoes!
I look like a Mob Boss! :stuck_out_tongue:

One suit and a black blazer in my closet currently… I have a navy sports coat but I’m pretty sure I never took it from the 'rents, so it’s probably in the back of a closet somewhere there. I’m 23, and I probably get the chance to wear my suit two or three times a year, tops.

If I had the money to get a nice set of tailored suits, I’d totally become one of those people who wears suits everywhere they’re remotely appropriate. I love how comfortable I feel (and how good I look!) in nice clothes.

I own 2 suits. One brown, one blue.

I do not own a suit. I own one pair of dress pants, and I only own those because the CEO of our company specifically ordered me to buy them for an occasion when customers were coming into work. When one of the managers saw me wearing dress pants, she took my picture.

No suit. One very good reason I’ve lasted thirteen years at my current company - no suits, no ties.

I have two suits (though the pants of my black suit are a bit tight), and a few different shirt-and-tie combinations. The idea is they’ll help me in the job search that just begun. . .well, tonight, actually.

I own about a dozen suits. I love wearing suits. Everybody, from store clerks to co-workers, treats you just a little better.

Weddings? Funerals?

I now have visions of Jesus Christ rolling back the stone and shouting, “Suits? You fuckers aren’t wearing suits? Forgive them yet again, Lord, for they know not what they do.”

I own three (actually four, but one is old, worn out and too small). I don’t have to wear one to work, but I like suits. I agree with Happy Scrappy Hero Pup

Good suit is very comfortable - I do some martial arts and I can do anything (roundhouse kicks and the like) when wearing my suit without problem. I actually find jeans more restraining.

Tie-a-tie. It’s easy. It’s fun. It takes like five minutes to learn.

I have two suits that I wear regularly, and one I need to get redone (or replaced) following significant weight loss.

Not only that, I’m wearing a suit right now. With a tie.

I own 12 suits. I had more, but threw some out that I don’t like the cut of anymore.

I have to wear them for work, but frankly I like them so that’s no issue for me. A properly fitted suit is far more comfortable than a pair of jeans, and looks infinitely better than just t-shirt, trainers and denim. That could be down to personal build and appearance though. In jeans and boots I look like a 30 something thug.

I have to say though, my wife really would like me to throw out one of my favourite 3 piece tweed suits, mainly as I insist on wearing my beloved coke from Lock & Co with it.

I own one, as does every male friend that I know (most also have full Highland Dress for ceileidhs, too). I also had to wear a shirt/tie/blazer at school (I think this is the norm in the UK).
