How quickly should I know the results?
I know that if caught early, prostate cancer is one of the most treatable cancers, but I’m still worried and nervous. I’ve been putting off think about this too much for a while, but now that I’m back from my first real trip in 9 years, it seems I now have some time to worry.

Just diagnosed. T1c, gleason 7 (3+4). It’s apparently contained so I’m told very curable. However, treatment can (note the qualifier) leave a man permanently impotent and can cause permanent urinary incontinence. In fact as I understand it, you get both for sure then maybe recover. Or not.
Obviously I need to find a surgeon (if I do surgery) or oncologist (if I opt for radiation instead) with a lot of experience and a track record of good outcomes. I have no idea how I’m going to do that. I’m g…
