I shaved myself before my vasectomy. Not I am pretty much all old growth forest.
Electric. I use this special purpose bad boy for housekeeping around the nuts and bolt.
Nothing wrong with a bit of trimming. I don’t generally go down to the skin, but I have in the past with no issues. As mentioned previously, it looks better, feels better and is cleaner.
Exactly! Why do we do anything that may take some time and effort when it comes to sex? Because it feels good, because it may be something that you, and or your partner really enjoy and prefer. I find that shaving it all off makes things waaaay more sensitive, not to mention sexy. IMHO. 
If my SO wanted to trim or shave his scrotum, I would appreciate it also.
