If you don’t know, the governor of the state of Washington let a plaque of athiest beliefs next to the nativity scene in the state capitol. After she allowed that, many more came in, including the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Yes, there’s even a Festivus pole.

At my grandma’s nursing home this weekend, a bunch of schoolgirls visited to sing Christmas carols. They changed the lyrics of one carol to go: “We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Quanza, we wish you a Happy Hannukah, and a Happy New Year!” We joked about the “Politically Correct” versions of Christmas carols, while I went off on a rant about how prejudiced they were to not mention Ramadan. 
Well, have a merry Ramakwahannumas, then.
Ramadan ended a while back, but they did just have a successful Hajj season and Eid al-Adha.
I like the new lyrics and I think everyone should adopt them.
