Someone was playint with my computer and dragged documents from the desktop and now they appear behind the icons in the lower icon bar. I can’t seem to grab them with my mouse, I just activate the icons on top of them. How do I get rid of them, they are annoying me.
If you’re saying you have desktop icons behind the dock, the easiest way to delete them is to move the dock out of the way, clean up the mess, and put the dock back where you want it. Somewhere off towards the right end of the dock should be a gap with a vertical line. If you hold down the control key while clicking on the vertical line, a menu should pop up. One of the options should be “Position On Screen.” Select left, top, or right to get the dock out of the way. After you clean up the clutter that someone else left behind, you can use the same process to put the dock back where you want it.
I assume you mean that they’re behind your Dock? Apple-Alt-D shows and hides the Dock - allowing you to get at things on your Desktop that are stuck behind it.

Or you can move the dock to the side or top. I keep mine one the right side to keep it out of the way of bottom scroll bars. Go to the apple menu, choose Dock and choose where you want it.
I’ve resized my dock for this exact reason. It’s now small enough so that any wayward icons still have enough showing to be grabbed. You have to have “snap to grid” enabled, and do a little fine tuning between grid size and dock size.
