I was wondering if any of those meteors, of a considerable size, impacted earth last night and if so where.
i don’t think any of those meteors were bigger than an apple, so i’d say no.
Apple hell, I don’t imagine there were any bigger than a grape. And I’m hedging my bets at that: even the most impressive ones likely weren’t bigger than a kernel of corn.

The Earth passed though the trail of debris left behind from a comet. This stuff is what flakes off a comet, it is small. And since it’s from a comet, it’s icy chunks, not metallic. All of it would burn up.
i was sorta referring to the absolute high end stuff when i said apple. i mean, no one expects a grain of sand to make it through miles of air at supre-hyper-ultra-sonic speeds all the way to the ground, do they?
